Jermaine Jackson: Michael would have supported Hillary

Michael Jackson’s brother says the late “King of Pop” would’ve undoubtedly been a Hillary Clinton supporter.

Jermaine Jackson tells TMZ.com in a video posted Friday that his famous brother, who died at 50 in 2009, would’ve “hands down” voted for the Democratic front-runner in the 2016 presidential election.

{mosads}When asked whether Jackson was a big fan of Clinton, Jermaine Jackson replied, “Of course. We’re Democrats.”

Although not known for his political leanings, the “Thriller” singer performed at a 2002 voter registration drive and fundraiser sponsored by the Democratic National Committee. Former President Bill Clinton also reportedly attended the benefit.

Jermaine Jackson lashed out at Hillary Clinton’s political rival, Donald Trump, for comments the GOP White House hopeful made about the entertainer earlier this year.

Trump called Michael Jackson “a very good friend” during a February Republican town hall. “He was an unbelievably talented guy,” Trump said, but “lost tremendous confidence because of honestly bad, bad, bad surgery.”

Jermaine Jackson, a member of The Jackson 5 with his brother, tweeted at the time, “This fool Trump needs to sit down.”
