Watch live: Senate Finance Committee votes on Yellen confirmation
Janet Yellen, President Biden’s nominee to lead the Treasury Department, is set to receive a confirmation vote before the Senate Finance Committee Friday morning.
If confirmed, Yellen, who formerly served as chair of the Federal Reserve, would become the first woman to hold the position.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST.
