Trump golfs at Florida club with top-ranked PGA player

President Trump on Sunday played a round of golf with top-ranked PGA player Dustin Johnson.

It was the president’s second consecutive day teeing off at one of his courses with a professional.

White House deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters said in a statement that Johnson joined Trump as his partner for the day at Trump International Golf Club. Trump arrived at his golf club shortly after 8 a.m.

Johnson is currently the No. 1-ranked men’s golfer in the world.

Trump is staying at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for the weekend. He golfed on Saturday with LPGA pro Lexi Thompson at Trump International Golf Club, and will attend a fundraiser on Sunday afternoon.

The president, an avid golfer who has spent numerous days during his presidency at his own properties, regularly visits Trump International Golf Club during trips to his south Florida estate. Lawmakers, White House staff members and golf pros have all served as playing partners at various times.
