CORONAVIRUS RELIEF

Biotechnology company OncoSec Medical Inc. hired Alston & Bird LLP to work on issues related to a vaccine for COVID-19. Jane Lucas, former special assistant to President Trump in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, and Elinor Hiller, former senior adviser to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under President Trump, will work on the account.

Miraki Innovation, a health care innovation fund that develops patient-centered technology, hired Capitol Hill Consulting Group to work on COVID-19 relief bills and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act. David Stratton Edwards, former legislative counsel to Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), will work on the account.

The Fulton County Government in Georgia hired McGuireWoods Consulting to work on ensuring flexible funding for county governments. Ryan Bernstein, former chief of staff to Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.), will work on the account.

MEDIA

Fox Corp. hired Becker & Poliakoff to work on diversity & inclusion issues. Bert Gomez, former senior vice president of federal and state government relations at Univision Communications, will work on the account.

TECHNOLOGY

Oracle Corp. hired Innovative Policy to work on procurement, technology and intellectual property issues. Matt Sandgren, former chief of staff to ex-Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), will work on the account.

Data software company Sertainty Corp. hired American Defense International Inc. to organize meetings with officials regarding data technology. Josh Martin, former chief of staff to Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Texas), and Matt Weinstein, former legislative director to Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Ala.), will work on the account.

SPACE

Aerospace economic development agency Space Florida hired Holland & Knight LLP to help with financing of spaceport infrastructure and facilities. Christopher Armstrong, former chief oversight counsel for Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee, and David Whitestone, former aide to ex-Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), will work on the account.
