Hillary Clinton is adding some star power — in the form of Ben Affleck and Tracee Ellis Ross — to a voting rights-focused fundraiser.

A Dec. 7 virtual event will feature a conversation among the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, former Attorney General Eric Holder and the pair of Hollywood stars.

A Monday pitch to supporters says donations will help “the fight to end gerrymandering and defend voting rights across the country.”

Tickets for the fundraiser, being hosted by Clinton’s Onward Together and Holder’s redistricting reform group, All on the Line, start at $25, with donors giving at least $1,000 being offered a virtual VIP reception with the night’s four headliners.

“At the core of our democracy is the right to make our voices heard in fair elections,” said an email signed by Clinton to promote the event. “And when Republicans redraw district lines to dilute the voting power of communities of color and eliminate competitive seats to their own advantage, they threaten that right for the rest of us.”

“Gone Girl” actor Affleck once said he had become “disillusioned” with politics, declining in 2013 to commit to campaigning for Clinton. In an interview with Playboy, the Academy Award winner said he disliked “being used as a prop to schmooze people and try to milk the teat of the donor for money.” Affleck later became one of Clinton’s prominent celebrity fundraisers during the 2016 White House race.

“Black-ish” star Ellis Ross campaigned for Clinton in 2016, saying at the time that the country would “go backward” if her opponent, then-GOP White House hopeful Donald Trump, was elected.
