Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, released her first children’s book on Tuesday, titled “The Bench.”

The book is centered around a mother’s perspective on the relationship between a father and son

“My hope is that ‘The Bench’ resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine,” the former actress, who was born Meghan Markle, said when announcing the book in May.

The book, published through Random House Children’s Books and with illustrations by Christian Robinson, features diverse families that include a man who wears a turban, another in a wheelchair and a man who wears a tutu to match his son’s.

“You’ll love him. You’ll listen. You’ll be his supporter,” reads the page with the son and father wearing tutus.

“This representation,” Meghan said, “was particularly important to me, and Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens.”

Meghan dedicates the book to “the man and the boy who make my heart go pump-pump.”

The last page in the book shows Prince Harry and the couple’s son, Archie, feeding chickens.

The book was released a few days after the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
