TikTok star accuses YouTuber Jake Paul of sexual assault

TikTok star Justine Paradise accused YouTube star Jake Paul, during a 20-minute video posted to YouTube last week, of forcing her to engage in a sexual act.

On Friday, the TikTok star shared the video stating that the incident occurred in 2019, but that she did not release details at the time because she believed it would have broken the contract of a nondisclosure agreement she had signed.

In the video, Paradise said that she met with Paul multiple times in June and July of 2019 at Team 10 House, a mansion in Los Angeles where social media stars lived and worked. She said that Paul forced her to have oral sex after she expressed that she was not comfortable going any further than kissing. She emphasized that the act was not consensual on her part.

“He didn’t ask for consent or anything,” Paradise said in the video. “He knew I didn’t want to do anything with him.”

Paul’s attorney Daniel E. Gardenswartz said that the YouTuber “categorically denies the allegation” against him. He also said that Paul will take “legal action against those responsible for the defamation of character,” according to a statement to ESPN.

Paul responded to the allegations in a Twitter post on Tuesday, writing “I will fight this to the end to prove my innocence.”

“Sexual assault accusations aren’t something that I, or anyone should ever take lightly, but to be crystal clear, this claim made against me is 100% false,” he wrote.
