Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), brought his girlfriend, actress Rosario Dawson, as his guest to the inauguration of President Biden on Wednesday.
The duo, who have been dating for about two years, sported matching protective face masks as they took in the ceremony.
Booker and Dawson were among the small group of lawmakers and other invitees who watched the swearing-in ceremony from the Capitol grounds.

Due to coronavirus, the inauguration was closed to the public. Instead of spectators, nearly 200,000 flags filled the National Mall as the ceremony took place.
Booker posted a selfie with Dawson in front of the Capitol to his Instagram feed, which he cheekily captioned, “It was very cold today. -45,” in what appeared to be a dig at former President Trump.
