Chris D’Elia, a real-life comedian, portrayed a fictional comedian who sexually harassed underage girls and took inappropriate photos of them on the Netflix series “You.” He is now facing accusations of sexual harassment and soliciting nude pictures from underage girls, according to Vulture.

In a Twitter thread on Tuesday, a woman, identified as Simone Rossi, accused the comedian of grooming her when she was a teenager and trying to solicit pictures from her.

“Imagine being 16 and being groomed by a stand up comedian twice ur age and the only reason you never met up and never got physically m*lested was because u had just gotten a boyfriend ur own age,” she wrote in a tweet that also include a screenshot of an alleged conversation between her and D’Elia.

In the screenshot, a sender with a censored email that read “chrisdelia” at the start of the address could be seen asking Rossi to “make out” in an apparent exchange dated on New Year’s in 2015.

Other screenshots included in the thread that were dated from July 2014 showed the sender asking Rossi to “send me a pic.”

“For the longest time i thought it was embarrassing for ME that i was interacting with this older man but he was the one who DM’d me on twitter and was the one who was twice my age and was the one that used the power imbalance between us to his advantage so f*ck chris d’elia,” she tweeted.

“I am also definitely not the only underage girl he did this too. just an FYI. For the longest time i thought this was just a funny story to tell at parties when i realized what happened isn’t normal and that he was and could still be doing this to younger girls and it’s my job to say something,” she wrote in a series of tweets.

“F— you @chrisdelia and also @netflix i highly doubt casting this creep as a pedophile was a coincidence. at least i got to see him fake die,” she continued.

In “You,” D’Elia played a comedian and pedophile named Henderson who would prey on underage girls and drug them. Once they were unconscious, he would take inappropriate photos of them and keep them for years.

The Hill has reached out to Netflix for comment.

The thread by Rossi prompted D’Elia’s name to trend across Twitter and led to other women on the platform sharing their own experiences they claimed to have had with the comedian while they were underage.

“Although i’ve been publicly saying it for years, F— Chris D’elia. he solicited nudes off of me when i was 17 years old and constantly messaged me whenever he was touring vancouver and asked me to come backstage to his shows,” one woman said in a tweet that has racked up more than 73,000 likes in less than a day.

Another woman shared a thread that included screenshots of alleged conversations occurred between her and D’Elia on Facebook back in 2011 when she was 17.

“SheRatesDogs” an account on Twitter with more than 552,000 followers, also posted screenshots from women leveling similar allegations against the comedian.

However, D’Elia has since pushed back on the allegations, telling TMZ on Wednesday that he has “never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point.”

“All of my relationships have been both legal and consensual and I have never met or exchanged any inappropriate photos with the people who have tweeted about me,” he said.

“That being said, I really am truly sorry. I was a dumb guy who ABSOLUTELY let myself get caught up in my lifestyle. That’s MY fault. I own it. I’ve been reflecting on this for some time now and I promise I will continue to do better,” he added in the statement.
