Obama’s Supreme Court nominee a Taylor Swift fan

President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee is a big Taylor Swift fan. 

That’s according to White House senior adviser Brian Deese, who led the selection process and admitted he too is a fan of the pop star. 

{mosads}Deese said Friday at a Politico breakfast he got “reasonably into” Swift’s music after his young daughter forced him to listen to it repeatedly.

“I’ve felt a little more self-conscious about that until, in the last week or two, getting to know Judge [Merrick] Garland is also reasonably into Taylor Swift,” Deese said. “I feel like I’m in pretty good company in that respect.”

Asked if Garland sings along to Swift’s songs, Deese suggested the world could find out if the “Bad Blood” between Senate Republicans and the White House goes away. 

“That’s why we have hearings,” he said.
