Presidential candidate and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) will join a lineup of musicians, comics and fellow politicians at a summer festival in New York.
OZY Fest announced Thursday that O’Rourke will speak at the second day of the festival, July 21, in Central Park.
Other politicians set to speak are former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D) and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) during a panel moderated by Axios co-founder Mike Allen.{mosads}
The festival also features live music, comedy and food.
OZY Fest’s lineup includes a range of celebrities and public figures including Mark Cuban, John Legend, Rachael Ray, Jameela Jamil, Malcolm Gladwell, Trevor Noah and Spike Lee.
O’Rourke appears to be the only 2020 candidate OZY Fest has announced will appear during the two-day festival.
He faces 24 other candidates in seeking the party nomination.
Former Vice President Joe Biden, one of the primary candidates, attended last year’s OZY Fest and introduced his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, who was one of the event speakers.
At the time Biden deflected a question from Katie Couric as to a potential 2020 White House run.
