Trump video shows Clinton laughing over Benghazi footage
Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Tuesday posted a campaign video showing Hillary Clinton laughing over footage of the 2012 terror attack in Benghazi, Libya.
“We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful internet video,” Clinton says at the start.
{mosads}The video then flashes to clips showing family members of Benghazi victims accusing Clinton of lying about the causes of the terrorist attacks.
At the end of the video, a clip is shown of Clinton laughing overlaid on burning images, with a voice heard saying: “I don’t know why that’s funny.”
The video ends with the text: “Never forget!”
The clip of Clinton laughing is from her testimony last October on Capitol Hill before the House committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attacks on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi.
During Clinton’s appearance, Rep. Martha Roby (R-Ala.) asked Clinton a series of questions about the night of the attacks, including whether she was alone.
She then followed up asking: “The whole night?”
“Yes, the whole night,” Clinton said and laughed as she responded.
Roby chided Clinton, saying she didn’t know why the former secretary of State was laughing.
“Did you have any in-person briefings? I don’t find it funny at all,” she said.
In the caption for the video, Trump said that Clinton has “bad judgment.”
Trump previously posted a video to his Instagram account that showed Clinton laughing over flaming images of the Benghazi attack and other news clips that highlight different controversies.
