A judge in New York ruled Tuesday that a case against Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump will go to trial, Fox News reported.

{mosads}New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is accusing Trump of fraud over the now-defunct Trump University, alleging that the school was unlicensed and falsely promised students they would be taught by real estate experts who were selected by the business mogul.

The ruling opens up the possibility Trump could testify while the campaign is ongoing.

A New York appeals court had unanimously ruled in March against Trump’s motion to have the case thrown out.

Trump has faced scrutiny over the school, especially for his claim it had received an A rating from the Better Business Bureau.

“Let’s see what happens in court. This is a civil case, very easy to have settled, could settle it now, very easy to have settled. … Let’s see what happens at the end of a couple years when this case is over,” the billionaire said during a debate in March.
