Trump: Univision anchor ‘absolutely out of line’

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is not backing down from his criticism of Univision anchor Jorge Ramos.

{mosads}“He was totally, absolutely out of line,” the New York business mogul said Wednesday morning on NBC’s “Today.”

Trump and Ramos engaged in a terse exchange on Tuesday night in Iowa, where Ramos was removed from a news conference when the television personality spoke to Trump out of turn.

“I’m not a bully,” Trump said later on NBC in response to criticism of his comments about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. “In fact, I think it’s the opposite way.”

Trump also took a shot at fellow GOP candidate Jeb Bush, saying the former Florida governor will “never take us to the promised land.”

He said voters are “tired of the Jeb Bushes of the world. They’re tired of the Bushes, the Clintons.”

Trump has repeatedly argued he is an alternative to the political dynasties embodied by Bush and Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party’s current front-runner.

He is currently surging in multiple national polls, based on his appeal as a political outsider.

“There’s a movement going on,” Trump said. “[It’s] a whole ‘silent majority’ thing going on.”
