The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is set to hold a nomination hearing for acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf on Wednesday morning.
Wolf has served as the Homeland Security chief in an acting capacity since November, and the agency has gone more than a year without a Senate-confirmed leader. President Trump nominated Wolf to head the department permanently last month.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
