Banned lawmaker: Russia ‘directly responsible’ for plane
A U.S. lawmaker who is banned from Russia is certain that Vladimir Putin’s regime is “responsible” for downing the Malaysian airlines flight over Ukraine last week.
{mosads}Democratic Rep. Jim Moran (Va.) tells The Hill “I do know without any doubt that the Russians are directly responsible for the downing of the plane.”
Moran, who is not seeking reelection, added that he is working on tougher sanctions to crack down on Russia.
