The White House COVID-19 response team and other public health officials on Wednesday will hold a press briefing as cases have surged across the nation due to the omicron variant.
The briefing also comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has come under fire for its new isolation and quarantine guidelines.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET.
