Dem: Russia adds wrinkle to Iran deal
A senior Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee tells The Hill that Russia’s decision to sell air defense missiles to Iran could affect the outcome of the international deal to restrict Iran’s nuclear program.
“The good news here is that Moscow has said this several other times and they didn’t mean it, and I hope that’s the case again,” Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) said in an interview with The Hill. “If not, we have a real problem with Russia, and we have a real problem with this deal.”
