Ron Bonjean is giving ITK a hint as to who the surprise guest might be at his uber popular holiday bash this weekend.
The GOP consultant and his wife, Sara, are hosting their annual Washington-area shindig — which has become a bit legendary on the social circuit — on Saturday.
{mosads}As in years past, the “T’Was the Twelfth Night Before Christmas” party will feature a secret celebrity guest to spice things up. Past guests have included “Saved by the Bell” principal Dennis Haskins, “CHiPs’” Erik Estrada and Gary Busey.
The clue about this year’s invite-only party is … the above YouTube trailer for the 1989 flick, “Troop Beverly Hills.” The comedy stars Shelley Long as a snooty mom who becomes her daughter’s Girl Scout troop leader in an effort to win back her husband. Tori Spelling, Jenny Lewis, and Craig T. Nelson also appear in the film.
When we inquired with Bonjean if Spelling, Long or someone else from the movie’s cast would be popping into the party, the Republican strategist remained tight-lipped.
“It’s a secret!” he said.
