A Democratic lawmaker who supports Hillary Clinton say the probable 2016 presidential contender is making the right moves to set up a White House bid.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) tells The Hill that Clinton, “I do not think she should make her decision now. I think that she should be supporting candidates as she is … she’s coming to a DCCC event in New York supporting our efforts to elect Democratic candidates. That’s exactly what she should be doing: helping those candidates that are in the battlefield right now of politics trying to win an election.”
{mosads}Clinton headed to Iowa this weekend to raise money for Democratic candidates.
Democratic Reps. Jose Serrano (N.Y.) and Alan Grayson (Fla.) suggested to The Hill that they would support the former secretary of State should she toss her hat into the presidential ring.
