Professor Dave Brat (R) called his upset win over House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) a “miracle” Tuesday night.
“It’s a miracle,” Brat said on Fox News Tuesday night. “I’m humbled that God gave us this win. It’s just an unbelievable miracle.”
{mosads}Brat said his victory showed the split between Wall Street and Main Street Republicans, singling out immigration reform as a major reason for his win.
“It’s big. It’s the most symbolic issue that captures the differences between myself and Eric Cantor in this race but it also captures that fissure between Main Street and Wall Street,” he said.
