Leno bashes O-Care, Clinton

“Tonight Show” host Jay Leno bashed President Obama for not upholding his promises during the rollout of his healthcare law.

{mosads}Leno joked about former President Clinton’s comments where he said earlier this week that Obama should have honored his commitment to Americans and allowed them to keep their health insurance under the new law.

“That’s when you know you’re in trouble, OK,” Leno said in his monologue on Wednesday’s show. “When Bill Clinton is lecturing you about commitment.”

Before his Clinton quips, Leno criticized Obama on his botched healthcare implementation, noting the one million Californians who’ve lost their insurance plans. He also joked about the president’s remarks to Native American leaders Wednesday afternoon, saying Obama also made promises to them.

“If you like your medicine man,” Leno laughed, “you can keep your medicine man.”
