House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Thursday is expected to hold a press conference Thursday morning.
The press conference comes as Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) faces pressure to send articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial.
McCarthy is also expected to face questions about the rising tensions with Iran and House vote on a war powers resolution curbing President Trump’s ability to take military action against the country.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
