Watch live: Obama holds campaign event for Biden

Former President Obama is scheduled to hold one of his first in-person campaign events of the cycle for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Philadelphia on Wednesday evening.

Obama is hitting the campaign trail for Biden in the final two weeks of the election in an effort to boost his former vice president and protect his own legacy against a potential second term for President Trump. 

The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. EDT.
