Watch live: Sanders holds press briefing following restaurant incident
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will answer reporters’ question Monday afternoon.
The briefing is Sanders first since reports surfaced she and her family were asked to leave a Virginia restaurant Friday night because the establishment’s owner said that the Trump administration’s policies were antithetical to her beliefs.
President Trump shot back at the restaurant on Monday in a tweet saying the restaurant is “dirty” and “needs a paint job.”
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
