Watch live: WH holds press briefing after New York City explosion

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will answer reporters’ questions on Monday afternoon.

Earlier Monday, the New York City Police Department said one person was in custody after officers responded to reports of an explosion near the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

The NYPD said one man, who was injured, is in custody.

{mosads}The Port Authority Terminal is located in the middle of Manhattan, several blocks from Penn Station.

Authorities described the explosion as an “attempted terrorist attack.”

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
