Watch: White House holds briefing as pressure mounts over remaining Gaza hostages
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is slated to deliver remarks Tuesday during a joint briefing with Tom Perez, director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
The briefing comes after President Biden on Monday said Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure a hostage deal.
The U.S. is ramping up pressure on the Israeli leader to reach a cease-fire agreement after six more hostages were found dead in Gaza over Labor Day weekend.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
