White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is slated to hold a press briefing Wednesday afternoon.
The briefing comes as the White House deals with the fallout of President Biden’s poor debate performance last week. Some Democrats have called on Biden to drop out of the 2024 race to make way for a stronger candidate while some members of the GOP have floated removing him from office under the 25th Amendment.
Wednesday afternoon’s event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
