President Biden is delivering remarks Tuesday at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s annual Days of Remembrance ceremony.
According to the White House, Biden will discuss “our moral duty to combat the rising scourge of antisemitism” and how his administration is implementing a national strategy to do just that.
The event comes as protests at college campuses across the country over Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza have become increasingly heated, with the White House and lawmakers criticizing aspects of those demonstrations as promoting antisemitism.
Biden is expected to speak at 11:30 a.m. EDT.
