Buttigieg testifies before Senate on budget, Baltimore bridge funding: Watch live
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Thursday morning is slated to testify before a Senate committee on the administration’s 2025 budget request, as well as funding to repair Baltimore’s collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge.
Members of Maryland’s congressional delegation introduced a bill last month that would require the federal government to cover the entire cost of repairing the Baltimore bridge that collapsed after a ship hit it last month.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
