White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is slated to hold a press briefing Monday afternoon.
A bipartisan group of lawmakers has been locked in negotiations over a potential border security deal that is key to unlocking additional aid for Ukraine amid its war with Russia.
President Biden said over the weekend that the U.S.-Mexico border has not been secure for 10 years, comments that could up the pressure on senators to land an agreement on the politically prickly issue of border security.
