Buttigieg testifies on aviation, rail safety

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg testified on oversight of the department before the committee.

In early September, House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and a group of Republicans requested a briefing, documents and communications related to the Transportation Department’s handling of various aviation and rail safety issues, as The Hill previously reported.
