Wednesday’s meeting announcements: Chinese pipe, National Christmas Tree under discussion
Just a couple of federal committee meetings will be announced in Wednesday’s issue of the Federal Register. Here’s a peek:
On Nov. 7, the U.S. International Trade Commission is meeting in Washington discuss imports of steel pipe from China.
The National Park Service is holding a meeting on Nov. 13 to help plan for the lighting of the National Christmas Tree.
On Dec. 2, the Park Service advisory commission for the Cape Cod National Seashore is meeting in Wellfleet, Mass.
The Census Bureau’s committee on racial, ethnic and other populations is meeting on Dec. 5 and 6 in Suitland, Md., to talk about census policies and methods.
On Feb. 7, 2014, the Food and Drug Administration is holding a meeting to allow the public to weigh in on drug development for sickle cell disease.
