Nestlé USA is voluntarily recalling certain DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s brand food products due to the potential presence of glass.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall Friday. Affected DiGiorno pizzas include the thin and crispy spinach and garlic pizza; the rising crust spinach and mushroom pizza; the pizzeria thin crust spinach and mushroom pizza; and the pizzeria Tuscan-style chicken pizza.
{mosads}Lean Cuisine products include the spinach and mushroom pizza; the spinach artichoke ravioli; the ricotta and spinach ravioli; the spinach, artichoke and chicken panini; and the mushroom mezzaluna ravioli. The Stouffer’s vegetable lasagna in 10-ounce, 37-ounce and 96-ounce sizes; spinach soufflé; and the chicken lasagna are also part of the recall.
The recall is limited to certain production codes, which FDA listed online.
The agency said no injuries have been reported and though the investigation is ongoing, it’s believed the glass was first found in a batch of spinach.
FDA asked consumers who may have purchased an affected product to contact Nestlé Consumer Services at 1-800-681-1676.
