Porn actor Stormy Daniels posed a question in a Tuesday interview about how widespread the concern for a second term for President Trump in the White House should be.
“Shouldn’t we all be worried about that?” Daniels responded when MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow asked if she was concerned about Trump getting elected to the presidency again.
Maddow then asked Daniels if she was “worried about” another Trump term, “particularly for” herself, to which Daniels responded in the affirmative. Maddow then questioned Daniels about the reasoning behind that concern.
“I think that he will make — try to make even more of an example out of me, you know?” said Daniels, who was at the center of Trump’s recent hush money trial in New York that resulted in him being the first former president convicted on felony charges.
Daniels also added Trump’s “followers will” possibly “be more, even more bold, thinking if they do something, he’ll pardon them.”
The interview with Maddow was Daniels’s first since Trump was found guilty on all counts of falsifying business records to conceal alleged affairs during his 2016 campaign.
A lawyer for Daniels said more than a month ago that Trump’s conviction in the hush money case “hit her hard.”
“I got a pretty instant report from the courthouse,” Attorney Clark Brewster said in an interview on “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” on NewsNation. “And so, it hadn’t hit the news yet when I told her, really. And, she was really kind of taken aback.”
“I think it was the culmination of a lot of things — the finality of it and, you know, the worry and nervousness that she had throughout leading up to this,” he added.
