It’s been a rough year for Samsung.

Last month the company was forced to pull its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones off the market due reports of them catching fire and/or exploding. Now it’s recalling 2.8 million washing machines.

{mosads}The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Friday that Samsung was voluntarily recalling its top-load washing machines due to a risk of “impact injury.”

CPSC said it has received 733 reports of the machines excessively vibrating or the top unexpectedly detaching from the machine. Nine injuries have been reported, including a broken jaw and injured shoulder.

Samsung is asking customers to contact them immediately to receive either a free in-home repair service and extended warranty, a rebate that can be applied to a new machine or a full refund.

Consumers will also receive a Home Label Kit that includes a control panel guide and additional safety instructions in the mail.

Until that kit arrives, Samsung is advising consumers to use the delicate or waterproof cycles when washing bedding, water-resistant and bulky items.
