A US Airways flight aborted its take off from Philadelphia International Airport after experience a mechanical problem, according to the company.
The plane, which was supposed to be flying from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale, blew out a tire as it attempted to take off late Thursday evening, the airline said.
{mosads}“Passengers were safely evacuated & we are reaccommodating passengers on a new aircraft,” the company tweeted.
The plane was carrying 149 passengers, according to reports, and no one was injured in the aborted take-off attempt.
