He joined the MPAA in 2006 after a distinguished career in law enforcement that included a stint as director of the Michigan State Police.
“Mike continues to be a prime mover behind many of the MPAA’s most significant investigative and law enforcement achievements particularly in key strategic areas concerning anti-camcording and counterfeit hard goods,” Mandil said.
“He is an indispensable part of the work we do and the successes we achieve.”
Suh will continue to oversee the organization’s efforts to crack down on online piracy while also working with the MPAA’s legal team to formulate a strategy for civil litigation.
He joined the MPAA in 2006 as deputy director of U.S. Anti-Piracy after serving as senior deputy district attorney for Ventura County, Calif.
“[Suh’s] deep knowledge of both Internet technology and law enforcement tools has made him an equally indispensable part of the work we do and the successes we achieve,” Mandil said.
