LinkedIn experiences nearly an hour of service issues
LinkedIn experienced an outage that affected a number of the networking platform’s more than 600 million users, the company confirmed Wednesday afternoon.
“Some members may be experiencing issues with our site. Our team is working hard to resolve. Stay tuned,” LinkedIn tweeted amid the outage.

About a half-hour later, it said the issues had been resolved.

Microsoft acquired LinkedIn for $27 billion in 2016, although it generally operates independently. The site accounts for more than 5 percent of Microsoft’s total revenues, according to CNBC.
