Uber’s board is reportedly planning to approach Facebook operating chief Sheryl Sandberg to serve as the ride-hailing company’s next CEO.
The New York Post reported that Uber board member Arianna Huffington is promoting the idea.
A source briefed on the situation told the Post that “Sheryl is their first choice.”
“That doesn’t mean they’re going to get her,” the source added.
Recode’s Kara Swisher reported that sources close to Sandberg said she would be staying with Facebook.
