Report: Uber fires more than 20 employees following sexual harassment investigation

Uber has fired more than 20 people and discovered more than 200 cases of sexual harassment as a result of a probe into the company’s workplace culture, Bloomberg reported.

The investigation was conducted by Perkins Coie, and an attorney from the firm presented the probe’s findings at an all-hands meeting on Tuesday, according to the report, which cited a person familiar with the matter.

{mosads}The firm apparently looked into 215 reported harassment claims in the company.

Earlier this year, Uber also asked former Attorney General Eric Holder to conduct a separate investigation into the company after a former engineer said in a widely-read blog post that her claims of sexual harassment were largely ignored.

A spokeswoman for Uber did not immediately respond when asked to comment.
