AT&T has added Capitol Hill veteran Noah Jacobson to its Washington policy shop.
Jacobson spent almost a decade in the Capitol, most recently serving as a legislative director and counsel for Rep. Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.) in his role on the House Ways and Means Committee.
{mosads}Friday was Jacobson’s first day as AT&T’s assistant vice president of federal relations. In addition to tax issues, he’ll work on finance policy for the telecommunications giant.
“Noah is a pro, bringing extensive legislative experience in tax and finance issues,” wrote Tim McKone, the chief lobbyist for the telecom giant, in an emailed statement. “We are pleased to have him join our team here at AT&T.”
