The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reportedly found that Iran is in compliance with the limits of the nuclear deal negotiated between the U.S. and international powers.
Reuters reported on Thursday that the U.N. watchdog agency said Iran has kept its amount of low-enriched uranium below the limit specified in the agreement. Iran also didn’t surpass the 3.67 percent cap on enrichment levels, according to a report obtained by the news agency.

The IAEA report is the third to be compiled since President Trump took office. The president has repeatedly lambasted the nuclear accord and during his presidential campaign vowed to tear it up.
The latest findings come a little more than a month after the Trump administration certified Iran’s compliance with the deal.
The administration announced in mid-July its certification of Iran’s compliance but insisted the country is “in default of the spirit” of the accord, citing its “malign activities” outside the realm of the nuclear deal.
The agreement, reached in 2015 under the Obama administration, provided Iran with sanctions relief in exchange for its adherence to the deal aimed at curbing Tehran’s nuclear program.
