The Israeli military said Thursday that two rockets were fired at Tel Aviv from the Gaza Strip, though no injuries had been reported.

The two fired rockets set off sirens in Tel Aviv, with several explosions heard in the city, Reuters reported, citing the Israeli military and witnesses.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry initially tweeted that the country’s Iron Dome had intercepted a rocket heading toward Tel Aviv, though later wrote that “no interceptions were made.” It added that “no damage or injuries were reported.”{mosads}

The Israel Defenses Force (IDF) also shared a video of air siren signals going off in Tel Aviv in response to the rocket launches.

No actor in the Gaza Strip has claimed responsibility for the rockets yet.

Tensions between Israelis and Palestinians have flared up in the last year after several Palestinian protests near Israel’s border fence drew lethal responses from the IDF.

Israeli news outlet Haaretz reported that more than 300 rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip during a series of especially violent confrontations with protesters in November.
