Trump: ‘I’ll be so angry’ if healthcare reform doesn’t pass

President Trump called out two Pennsylvania GOP lawmakers on Saturday during a rally in their home state, saying he would be “so angry” if Congress doesn’t pass a measure repealing and replacing ObamaCare.

“I’ll be so angry at Congressman Kelly and Congressman Marino and all of our congressmen in this room if we don’t get that damn thing passed quickly,” Trump said at a rally in Harrisburg, Pa., celebrating his first 100 days in office.

“They’ll get it done. We know them. They’ll get it done,” he said.

Trump was referring to Reps. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Tom Marino (R-Pa.), both of whom ardently support the American Health Care Act, the GOP’s plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

But the initial measure failed last month, after House GOP leadership pulled it from consideration amid dwindling support from Republicans, marking the defeat of Trump’s first major legislative initiative.

An amended version of the AHCA hit another snag on Thursday, when Republican House leaders announced that the bill would not come to a vote this week, as White House officials had hoped.
