Boehner health staffer headed to K Street

“Emily has the unique skill of understanding the complex world of healthcare policy and also the intricacies of the legislative process,” Boehner said in a statement. “Our team is sad to see her go, but confident her next chapter will be a successful one.”
The Nickles Group was founded in 2005 by former Senate Budget Committee Chairman Don Nickles (R-Okla.), who retired in 2004.
Porter will join the firm as a vice president on Feb. 25.
