Support for healthcare reform law sees slight rebound

• The law’s individual mandate remains the most unpopular single provision in the law, with 63 percent of poll respondents opposed;
• Many individual provisions are popular across the political spectrum, especially the requirement that healthcare plans provide easy-to-understand benefit summaries (84 percent support); and
• Misconceptions abound 18 months after the law was enacted, including the mistaken belief that it contains a government-run public insurance plan (56 percent) and allows a government panel to make end-of-life decisions (35 percent).
