Reports: Uninsured Boston victim crowdfunding medical treatment
{mosads}The “Bucks for Bauman” account was created Tuesday by Bauman’s friends. More than 5,000 users had donated nearly $213,000 as of Friday afternoon.
“Medical bills are going to start rolling in,” reads a description of the fund. “Let’s get a head start on helping out Bauman and his family!”
Monday’s attack killed three and wounded more than 170, some of whom will be double amputees like Bauman.
He will reportedly receive prosthetic legs through nonprofit 50 Legs.
