New AFP ad: Healthcare law like Canada’s system

Much of Canadian healthcare is publicly funded — the country’s laws guarantee access to certain services. Obama’s Affordable Care Act seeks to expand coverage through an individual mandate to buy insurance and by expanding Medicaid.

AFP’s ad will run in swing states as part of a $6.2 million airtime purchase.

The spot will air in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, Wisconsin and North Carolina, according to the group, a conservative super-PAC with links to the Tea Party.
