Kudlow: New tax cuts will ‘probably come out sometime in September’
National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow on Friday said that the White House hopes to introduce new middle-class tax cuts by the fall.
“It’ll probably come out sometime in September,” Kudlow told Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo.
Kudlow added that the September goal was set by President Trump in a recent Oval Office meeting, ahead of November’s presidential election.
In addition to the new 10 percent tax cuts for the middle class, Kudlow said that Trump wants to strengthen and solidify “some of the other tax cuts.”
Many of the tax cuts that the administration introduced in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 expire in 2025.
